To succeed, the best Autotraders must balance pricing, execution and risk management to outmatch their rivals in an ultra-competitive market. We’ll run three online tournaments and if you’re in the top eight after the final one, you’ll compete with the other top teams in a livestreamed final match. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn from our Education team through various online events and Q&A sessions while you’re building your final entry.
The competition opens and teams can start building their Autotrader! Teams are encouraged to register before this date. The latest date to register is 5pm, Sunday March 7th.
The first online tournament of the competition is run. This is your first chance to unleash your Autotrader against other teams. We’ll update the Leaderboard with the top ranked teams from this tournament and the top performers will be seeded in the second tournament. Remember to use the log files you receive to tweak your solution and be even more competitive in the next tournament! Submissions due by 5:00pm AEDT, Friday March 12.
The penultimate online tournament. Another opportunity to test your Autotrader against other teams and receive more performance feedback. Submissions due by 5:00pm AEDT, Thursday March 18.
This is the big one. We’ll run the final online tournament, and select the top eight teams based on the results. Those top eight teams will be invited to the in-house final. Submissions due by 5:00pm AEDT, Thursday March 25.
If you’re good enough to make it this far, you’ll go head-to-head in a livestreamed final match against the other teams to determine who is the Grand Champion (and winner of the final $50K prize).
